You'll love the casual atmosphere of The Studio. Bring your friends and each of you can work on the project of your choice or work on one together. No prior art experience is necessary. The Studio is located on the ground floor of the Reitz Union and is staffed by talented UF students who can provide expert advice.
The Studio is the place for a variety of artistic opportunities:
- Painting pottery
- Creating beaded jewelry
- Drawing and painting
- Making paper
- Polaroid photo transfers and more…
There is no hourly charge for projects. Each project has a set fee and includes all the necessary supplies for completion.
Leisure Courses
The Studio is also a facility in which the Leisure Course Program holds some of its non-credit courses. Courses taught there include: Beginning Beading, Polaroid Transfers, Creative Collage, Watercolor Painting, Papermaking, Bookmaking, Hemp Jewelry, Card Making, Ceramic Sushi Dishes, Scrap Booking, Drawing & More!
