How To Register

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis throughout the semester. It begins the second week of each semester and continues until the trip is sold out or until the Friday afternoon the week preceding the trip. UF price is for all UF students, faculty, and staff with a valid Gator 1 Card. To register, stop by the Outfitter in the J.W. Reitz Union or call the Outfitter at 846.3004. Full payment and a completed signed form is due to reserve your spot. Please have the following information ready at registration: local address, UF ID, Emergency contact information, and Health insurance information (mandatory).

Pre-TRiP Meetings

The Monday preceding your trip is scheduled a mandatory Pre-TRiP meeting for the safety and enjoyment of participants. At this meeting all participants meet and are provided specific information by TRiP Leaders to help prepare them. Leaders conduct icebreakers, discuss TRiP rules and policies, go over the itinerary, discuss necessary equipment, and answer questions. Prior to the Pre-TRiP meeting, feel free to contact your TRiP leader or visit the Outfitter/TRiP Office.

Refunds

TRiP does not provide refunds for people who have paid and cannot participate. Trips are priced as at cost and must sell-out to cover expenses. Participants who pay and decide not to go may attempt to sell their spot if the TRiP is sold out. If a class-related excuse is documented three weeks prior to the trip departure date, an Eboard revision is provided for the possibility of funds to be transferred to another TRiP for a transfer fee of $10.

TRiP Cancellations

TRiPs are occasionally cancelled due to inclement weather or lack of participation. TRiPs will be cancelled before the Monday, Pre-TRiP meeting. All participants will be notified by an Outfitter or TRiP Staff. If a trip is cancelled, participants may choose to transfer the money towards another trip or receive a refund.
